But why would you be fasting as a body cleansing (detox)? There are other ways to detox that do not involve fasting. That can become an extreme and dangerous method if not done properly.</description>

Be very very careful, and it would be wise to consult a doctor or a nutritionist before you fast. Fasting isn&#039;t really necessary for most people; it&#039;s better off to eat well most of the time, and to generally eat lightly and eat a Mediterranean diet.</description>

Unless your going on like a marathon fast (more than ten days--and those aren&#039;t recommended without supervision by a physician) you won&#039;t lose enough weight to effect your skin&#039;s tightness. It takes quite a bit of weight-loss to do that (more than 10 or 15 lbs I think...). And even if on the VERY slight chance you did start to sag just a little bit, at 22 your skin is very elastic and will spring back into shape relatively quickly.</description>
