I am going on a fast for body cleansing and of course there will be weightloss invovled as there always is in a fast. My concern is that losing weight will make my ****** skin sag slightly or something or my face not be as firm. At 22 should I be concerned about this? or will it be ok. If It does sag at first does it tighten eventually?

No, you don’t have to worry about your skin sagging from a fast. Unless your going on like a marathon fast (more than ten days–and those aren’t recommended without supervision by a physician) you won’t lose enough weight to effect your skin’s tightness. It takes quite a bit of weight-loss to do that (more than 10 or 15 lbs I think…). And even if on the VERY slight chance you did start to sag just a little bit, at 22 your skin is very elastic and will spring back into shape relatively quickly.

No you shouldn’t worry about your skin sagging, but please make sure you don’t have low blood sugar, otherwise you will faint while you fast. Be very very careful, and it would be wise to consult a doctor or a nutritionist before you fast. Fasting isn’t really necessary for most people; it’s better off to eat well most of the time, and to generally eat lightly and eat a Mediterranean diet.

The answer to your question of course would be no. Just be sure to keep adequate water intake.
But why would you be fasting as a body cleansing (detox)? There are other ways to detox that do not involve fasting. That can become an extreme and dangerous method if not done properly.
