kkwidget59 asked:
My friend and I are planning on fasting. We’ve done some research and know that fasting may or may not help cleanse your body. Bottom line: It’s summer. We’re bored. And we have nothing better to do.
So, is there any information we should know? And please no stupid answers like go find something else to do. If you dont have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
Can we drink water? And what should our meal plan be for the next day?
thanks volleybalgrl!

Yes drink plenty of water because this is what helps wash the toxins out of your body if your doing a cleanse. I did a fast like this, and after your finished do NOT eat any solid foods for 2 days, because trust me, you will throw it all up lol. So start with having some soup and juice for the first 2 days and gradually eat your way up. Good Luck!

fasting! you are religious person? Anyway, fasting can drink water and juice. Your last meal plan should have vegetables and fruit, some meat is allowed. It depend on how many days, you take to fast.
If you fasting, suggest that find a buddy with you, so that you have somebody with you.
Daily Water Intake For Fasting Drink according to the needs of your body. It is common to drink only 2-3 glasses of water per day. The concept of drinking large amounts of water to flush out toxins is not valid. During water fasting, digestion is not required, and the body needs only a small amount of water for its processes.

Fasting may not suit everyone based on their current health conditions, age and other factors. Don’t do it more than 1 or 2 days at a stretch if this is your first time. Your body may have a difficult time getting used to it. Please also remember that when u drink lots of water without sugar and salt intake, you run the risk of running low on these important chemicals in the body. Just have a sip when you are thirsty.
Some fasting plans ask you to have lemonade…read about those and weigh your options.
Also don’t exert physically the days that you fast. And if at anytime u don’t feel good, please eat, don’t keep up with the fast…it could be dangerous otherwise.
All the best!
